Proverbs 2: 9-11
9 Then you will understand what is right and just
and fair—every good path.
10 For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
11 Discretion will protect you,
and understanding will guard you.
Sometime we get so caught up in keeping the rules, or avoiding them, that we forget to engage our hearts with God. God is the good path. His wisdom changes our lives and the course of our lives. So to grow in wisdom is to see it as a “must have.” More than hair color, or latest fashions, understanding God’s way of doing what is right and just and fair becomes our greatest gain. He promises when we adjust our lives to that end, we will experience great benefit.

Amen and Amen! Thanks for the reminder.
Wisdom…your blog is great Jana…but the word wisdom caught my eye. Wisdom has been the constant desire of my heart for a year, I am constantly praying for wisdom and discernment.
When I took the spirit-gift test last week wisdom and discernment were very low on the list, like in the last five. Which for a while discouraged me, I do dearly desire wisdom and discernment. But I remembered the verse that says God wants to pour out his wisdom upon us, fill us up with his abundant wisdom. It has given me courage and determination to continue asking for wisdom, seeking wisdom whole heartedly. Just wanted to share that with you! Thanks for all your hard work and sacrifices sister!
